Fastest time ever in Eiskanal

Last weekend was busy also for sprinters. ICF Wildwater Canoeing Sprint World Championships 2011 was happening in Eiskanal in Augsburg (GER). Slovenian Nejc Žnidaršič became the only person to drop below 1:35 and took the title of World sprint champion 2011 in K1. In C1 and K1W France took the tiltes with Guillaume Alzingre and Laetitia Parage, while C2 brought the title to home nation with double Baumann/Walter.

In the team events Croatia won the title in C1 over France and Germany, in K1W Germany won over France and Czech republic, in K1M those nations switched places with Czech republic taking the podium over France and Germany, while in C2 Slovakia took the gold, France silver and Grmany bronze.
